If you’re already using Zapier to automate tasks between different apps, we’ve got some good news. You can now integrate our Global Exchange Rates API into your workflows using a new custom connector on Zapier.
This means: no more custom integrations or scripts. Just integrate the latest exchange rates in your Zapier workflows and automations.
What is Zapier?
Zapier is a no-code automation platform that lets you connect thousands of web apps and set up automated workflows (called “Zaps”) between them. You can do things like:
- When a new row is added in Google Sheets → send a Slack message
- When a form is submitted on your website → add the lead to your CRM
- Or now: when you need the latest exchange rates → fetch them automatically from our API and send them wherever you need, like you accounting system or a Google Sheet.
We’ve just published our service as a custom connector on Zapier.
You can now pull the latest rates in a few clicks—no coding needed—and push them into tools like:
- Google Sheets
- Airtable
- Notion
- QuickBooks
- …or pretty much anything else Zapier supports
If you’re dealing with multi-currency accounting, finance reports, or BI dashboards, this can save you time and reduce manual errors.
You’ll need:
How to Get Started
1. A Zapier account
2. Access to the Global Exchange Rates API, by subscribing in our API portal.
3. Access to our custom Zapier connector using the following invite link:
https://zapier.com/developer/public-invite/223420/7ca2fcc31750f957967eb3bbaba2e630
From there, you can create your first Zap and start integrating our exchange rates into your workflow in minutes.
The data structure returned via Zapier is slightly different from what’s shown in our official API documentation, as Zapier expects responses in a specific format. You can view the actual structure directly within the Zapier connector.
As always, let us know how you’re using it or if there’s something we can improve.
